1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Blue Magic Labs Ltd
128 City Road
London
United Kingdom

Email: raoul@bluemagic-labs.com
See also: Legal Notice.
2. General Information
This Privacy Policy informs you which personal data is processed when you use this website, and for what purpose. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.
This website is deliberately kept lean: cookies are used exclusively for the analytics tools Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and only once you have actively given your consent via the cookie banner — see Sections 5 and 6 for details.
3. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States.
When you access this website, Vercel automatically processes technical information transmitted by your browser — so-called server log files. According to Vercel, this includes, among other things: IP address, location information derived from the IP address, and diagnostic, capacity and usage data related to server operation.
This data is processed solely for the technical delivery, troubleshooting, maintenance and secure operation of the website. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
As Vercel Inc. is a company based in the United States, this processing may involve the transfer of personal data to the United States. According to its own statements, Vercel relies, among other things, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, including the UK Extension, for this purpose. Further information is available in Vercel's own privacy notice at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-notice; a list of the sub-processors used by Vercel can be found at https://security.vercel.com.
Vercel offers a Data Processing Addendum under Art. 28 GDPR which, according to Vercel's own statements, applies to customers on the Pro and Enterprise plans, but not to the free Hobby plan. The specific Vercel plan used for this project has not been specified for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.
4. Contact
This website currently offers three ways to get in touch:
- Contact form: The form on the Contact page asks for your name, your email address and your message, and optionally your company or organisation. When you submit it, this information is sent to us as an email through the email delivery service Resend, and we use it solely to respond to your inquiry. This website itself does not store your submission in a database.
- Links to Calendly: Several places on this website, such as the scheduling link, lead to an external booking tool provided by Calendly at calendly.com. Clicking these links takes you to Calendly's website, where Calendly's own privacy policy applies, available at https://calendly.com/privacy as of the time this page was created. This website itself does not transmit any data to Calendly through the mere act of linking.
- Email: You can contact us directly at raoul@bluemagic-labs.com. If you email us, we process the personal data you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message) solely to respond to your inquiry.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
On your first visit to this website, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the screen. No analytics cookies are set without your explicit consent — the technical default remains "declined" until you make a choice.
If you consent, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ with an appended container ID, each with a default duration of two years, to recognize you as a returning visitor and track a session — see Section 6 for details. If you decline or make no choice, these cookies are not set.
If you consent, Microsoft Clarity likewise sets the cookies _clck, which according to Microsoft stores a Clarity user ID for up to one year, and _clsk, which according to Microsoft connects the pages of a single visit and lasts one day. If you decline or make no choice, these cookies are not set.
Your choice itself — whether you consented or declined — is stored by this website in your browser via local storage, not via a cookie, so that you are not asked again on your next visit. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Beyond this, the website itself does not set any cookies and does not use local storage for any further tracking, analytics or preference purposes. To the best of our current knowledge, hosting provider Vercel also does not set its own cookies for the plain delivery of this website.
6. Analytics and Tracking Tools
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by either Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC, depending on which Google entity is contractually responsible for you. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages are viewed, so that we can improve our offering. Without your consent, Google Analytics does not activate — no data collection or analysis of user behavior by Google Analytics takes place.
The legal basis for this is exclusively your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give via the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
This involves the processing of data including: pages viewed, approximate location information derived from the IP address, and technical device and browser data. According to Google's own statements, Google Analytics does not store or log individual IP addresses of visitors from the EU, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.
As Google Analytics is operated by a US-based corporation, this processing may involve the transfer of personal data to the United States. According to its own statements, Google relies, among other things, on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for this purpose. Further information is available in Google's own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
In addition to the cookie banner, you can prevent data collection by Google Analytics at the browser level using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
With the same consent, this website also uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records how visitors interact with this website — such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movements, together with technical device and browser data — and makes this available to us as session recordings and heatmaps, so that we can find and fix usability problems. According to Microsoft, text typed into form fields is masked by default. Without your consent, Microsoft Clarity is not loaded. The legal basis is likewise exclusively your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
As Microsoft is a US-based corporation, this processing may involve the transfer of personal data to the United States. Further information is available in Microsoft's own privacy statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
If you withdraw your consent via the Cookie settings link in the footer, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are both stopped and their cookies are deleted as far as your browser allows; neither is loaded again on later visits unless you consent again.
7. External Services and Embedded Content
With the exception of the link to Calendly mentioned in Section 4 and the analytics tools described in Section 6, this website does not embed any external services, scripts, maps, videos — such as YouTube or Vimeo — or social media plug-ins.
8. Fonts
The font used on this website is hosted locally by the website itself and is not loaded from an external service. There is no connection to external font services such as Google Fonts, so no data is transmitted to third parties when the font is loaded.
9. Retention Period and Deletion
Messages sent through the contact form described in Section 4 are not stored by this website itself; they reach us as email. Technical server log files as described in Section 3 are stored only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and are then deleted or anonymized; the specific retention period is determined by Vercel as the hosting provider and disclosed in its own privacy notice.
The Google Analytics cookies, which are only set with your consent, have a default duration of two years — see Section 5. The specific retention period for the associated analytics data at Google is determined by Google and disclosed in its own privacy policy. The same applies to Microsoft Clarity: its cookies last up to one year — see Section 5 — and the retention period for the associated data is determined by Microsoft. Your consent decision itself remains stored in local storage in your browser until you change it via Cookie settings in the footer or clear your browser storage yourself.
10. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access to your stored personal data pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR,
- rectification of inaccurate data pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR,
- erasure of your data pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR,
- restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR,
- data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR,
- object to the processing of your data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.
Please contact us at: raoul@bluemagic-labs.com
11. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data — in particular with the supervisory authority in your place of habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in legal requirements or changes to the website. The version published on this page at any given time is authoritative. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
